The last two years have basically been a series of struggles and triumphs. Anyone who has lived in another country, specifically one with a different language, can attest to how difficult some of the simplest things can become. Luckily, I have grown to be much more patient and tolerable over the last few years of A LOT of things and recently found that I find "successes" in some of the strangest things. This page of my blog will be a place where I share the incidents in which I have either triumphed over or succumb to the strange difficulties I face on daily or weekly basis. That's right Colombia, I'm keeping score.

Tuuuuurns out said old phone contract was NOT cancelled and I have been paying 2 phone bills since September and will continue to until December 5th when they can cancel my old contract for good (or so they say.) Cassie 1 - Movistar 2

Only 1 (of 2) of my eggplants had a worm in it! Due to the fact that he was already cooked when I cut into it and not squirming onto my cutting board, this one's getting a tie. Today, Sam went to Claro to cancel our cable (we haven't had a TV in months), something she has been attempting to do since at least May. They claim we had 2 boxes, we only found 1. We were told via our HR department that the box was $60.000 and we could simply pay for it. Claro says its $130.000 and won't let us return the one we have and cancel said cable without a note from the police that the second box is missing or stolen. Also, they can only cancel it on the 31st...Claro 134,987 - Cassie & Sam 0
